Over 15 years of work
BPI DRAFTS has worked with boys across Latvia for over 15 years. This is ongoing work, year after year, rather than a one-off event.
Christian values, open doors
The camp is based on Christian values and welcomes every boy, including those who are not involved in church life. No one is forced to believe.
Led by adult men
The camp is led by experienced leaders who live out the values that build strong families, churches and a strong country.
What your son does for five days
Each camp has its own content and daily rhythm. See the specific camp page for the full programme.
Physical and team challenges
Tasks that cannot be done alone. A boy learns to rely on others and become someone others can rely on.
Small-team conversations
Every team has its own instructor. Conversations happen in a small circle where boys can say things they would not say in class.
Topics on character and manhood
Focused topics on honesty, responsibility, faith and life's direction. Each topic leads to a task as well as a conversation.
Living together
Five days sharing a rhythm: getting up, eating, working and resting together. This is where character shows most clearly.

A responsible leader and contact number
Throughout camp, parents can reach the responsible leader by phone.
An instructor for every team
The boys are not left alone. Every small team has an adult alongside it every day.
Health information in the application
Parents list allergies, medication and anything else the leaders need to know in the application.
If something happens, we call immediately
Parents are informed immediately about injuries, illness or any serious situation, not after camp.

Does my son need to come from a Christian family?
No. The camp is based on Christian values and welcomes every boy, including those who have never attended church. No one is forced to believe or profess anything.
What is the minimum age?
From age 14. The summer camps are divided into three levels, and you start with level one, Enlistment. The winter Mobilization camp is also open to those who have never attended DRAFTS.
What does the fee cover?
The fee covers accommodation, food throughout camp, all activities and materials, and the instructors' work. The amount is shown on each camp page. If the fee is a barrier, contact us and we will look for a solution.
What if my son does not know anyone?
Most boys arrive on their own. Everyone is assigned to a team on the first day, and within hours each boy belongs to a team with its own instructor. No one is left out.
Is a special level of fitness needed?
No. The tasks are challenging but age-appropriate. Attitude matters more than fitness, and nobody is pushed beyond their limits.
Will I be able to contact him?
Phones are put aside during camp so the boys can be present in what is happening. Parents always have the responsible leader's number, and urgent contact goes through him.
Where do the boys sleep and what do they eat?
The camp takes place at the camp base. Boys sleep in teams, with three meals a day plus snacks. Please list any dietary requirements in the application.
What should we pack?
After registration, we send an exact list: clothing for bad weather, bedding, toiletries and a few small items. There is no need to bring anything expensive.
Does anything continue after camp?
Yes. Camp participants can join the Delta mentoring programme, where the same leaders continue working with boys throughout the year.
How do we register?
Choose a camp on the Camps page and fill in its application form. You will then receive confirmation, an invoice and a packing list.
