The third level is for boys who have already shown leadership skills. Here, you no longer carry out the task yourself. You lead a team of 3–5 people who do it.

ABOUT THE CAMP
A third-level camp for future team leaders
You do not apply for the Team camp. You are invited. Invitations go to boys who have shown leadership skills and potential at earlier camps.
Participants must be ready to lead a team of 3–5 people. Training comes first, followed by practical work. The leader is responsible for everything, from ministry to the team's daily life.
Levels 1 and 2 must be completed

THE WEEK
How Team works
At the end of the week, the leader reports on what his team accomplished, not just what he did himself.

WHO LEADS
A mentor who encourages the leader
Each team has a mentor throughout camp. He does not take over. He encourages the leader when the team will not listen, the plan falls apart and handing over the reins feels easier.

Frequently asked questions
How does my son get invited?
Invitations go to boys who have shown leadership skills and potential at Enlistment and Mission. The DRAFTS team issues the invitation; this level is not open for applications.
Where do the boys stay and eat?
The base is Ganības in Užava, as at the other camps. The difference is that teams spend part of their time away, with the people they serve, where conditions are more basic. There are three meals a day, and the leader takes some responsibility for his team's daily life.
How much responsibility will my son have?
He leads a team of three to five people. He is responsible for ministry, finances and everyday team life, including making sure everyone has eaten and rested. At the end of the week, he reports on what his team accomplished, not just what he did himself. This is real responsibility, not a game, and that is why this level changes people.
What if my son does not feel ready to lead?
That is normal, and it is why the invitation comes from us, not from him. Readiness is not the same as confidence. The week starts with training, and a mentor stays alongside him throughout, without taking over when the plan falls apart or the team will not listen. If this does not feel like the right year, he can decline and come next year.
What if the fee is a barrier?
We do not want money to be what keeps you from coming to camp. We, the BPI DRAFTS team, have made sure that where it is needed we can support you by covering part of the fee.
