ABOUT THE CAMP
Winter camp for boys aged 14–20
Mobilization is for boys who have already attended a BPI DRAFTS camp, and just as much for anyone who has not. There are no prerequisites.
Together, we seek fresh inspiration and encouragement for everyday life, ministry and overcoming challenges, renewing our readiness to serve the people around us.

The camp is led by experienced men who live out the values that build strong families, churches and a strong country. BPI DRAFTS has worked with boys across Latvia for more than 15 years.

Frequently asked questions
Does my son need previous DRAFTS experience?
No. Mobilization is the only camp open to every boy aged 14–20, including one hearing about DRAFTS for the first time. Many come with a friend.
Does my son need to attend church?
Not necessarily. The camp is based on Christian values, but nobody is forced to believe or pretend. Winter camp is often the first place where a boy talks about these topics at all.
What about the cold and winter safety?
Everything runs under experienced instructors, and every team has its own, who watches whether each boy has dry clothes and gloves. Nights are usually spent indoors in the warm, and where a night is spent in tents it is prepared and watched over. Tasks outdoors are planned around the weather, and after each one there is somewhere to warm up and change. A wet and cold boy at a winter camp is normal; a boy who falls ill is not.
What should he bring to winter camp?
A warm winter jacket, a hat, two pairs of gloves, thermal underwear, several pairs of warm socks, waterproof boots, clothes that can get dirty, a full change of clothes, a sleeping bag, a towel, toiletries, a Bible and a pen. Two pairs of gloves are no exaggeration: they will get wet.
What if the fee is a barrier?
We do not want money to be what keeps you from coming to camp. We, the BPI DRAFTS team, have made sure that where it is needed we can support you by covering part of the fee.
